During our morning meeting with the whole school, we skyped with Coach and the Foreman at the location of our new school. He gave us a tour of our new school. It was pretty awesome!
Thank you to Analice's mom for helping in literacy centers this week. I will be posting the sign ups for Literacy and Math centers very soon.
Academic Update:
Literacy: This week, we learned two new letters- M and N. We also learned the sight words I and like. We really practiced writing in our journals using the sight words too. Keep practicing your letters and sounds!
Math: This week we learned our color words and sang lots of songs about our colors too. We also talked about our shapes too- circle, square, rectangle and triangle.
Science: We finished up our five senses unit. :) Next week we will be talking about our community helpers in social studies. I'm bringing the class pet, Tom-Tom the turtle to school next week. We will talk about turtles for science next week.
