What a great week! We have a such a great class! I'm so excited about this school year.

Just a few reminders... every Friday, Kindergarten is allowed to buy ice cream. Ice cream is .50 - $1.00.

Please make sure that your child has a change of clothes in their book bag. Make sure it's labeled too! :)

Every Friday morning, the students will go to the gym for the school-wide morning meeting. This meeting last until 8:15.

Efe celebrated a birthday this week. Happy Birthday.

Open House is Tuesday, August 30th, 5:00-6:00 in the classroom and a 6:00-7:00 parent meeting. See you there!

Academic Update:

Literacy: We learned two more letters this week. Letter F and Letter B. Please practice writing and saying the sounds of these letters. Don't forget to practice the letter T from last week.

Math: We continued to learn about the words up, down, above, under, and beside. Practice using these words at home with common house hold items.

Science: We continued our five senses unit. We learned about our sense of touch, sight and hearing this week. We went outside and wrote in our science journals using our senses.
