Good Bye November and Hello December!! I hope we all had a great Thanksgiving. We were all very excited to be back and get into the swing of things again. We had a great week this week!

Congrats to Nolan and Analice for being our Chick-Fil-A students of the month!

Grayson was chosen for student of the week. He has Max the Moose for the weekend. Have fun!

Thank you to Kahlo's mom for being our Mystery Reader this week.

There is a new homework packet in the folder. The nightly homework calendar is already placed in the folder. You will see a difference in the format and assignments. The new format is to allow for a more challenging homework.  Don't forget to work on the sight words in the folder as well. We had a few students move up in lists this week.

Academic Update
Literacy : We are decoding, blending and sounding out words. Keep reading and writing every night. We talked about The Gingerbread Man this week as well.
Math : We started chapter 6 and we are practicing and learning our teen numbers.
Science: We are learning about living and nonliving things. We also did a really cool gingerbread science activity this week.
