What a week! We only have one week until Spring Break! I can't believe it's already here! Spring is in the air! Report Cards went home this week. The signature cards are due on Monday!!f you have any questions about them, please let me know. I am always available to meet with you or to answer questions over e-mail. Just a reminder, we need to be meeting all the standards going into first grade! Next week is a big week. We will be having Brainstorm next Tuesday.

Wednesday, March 30 7:30-8:10 in the lunch room is DOUGHNUTS FOR DADS!  Don't miss out! It's going to be so much fun. Please let me know if you are coming. :)

Specials next week: Monday: P.E., Tuesday: Spanish, Wednesday: Art, Thursday: P.E., Friday: Media. Library Books are due on Thursday.

Academic Update:

Literacy:
We completed our farm/animal unit. It was so much fun. Keep reading at home, working on sight words, working on blending sounds together and breaking syllables up.

Math: We have started our new chapter on graphing. Keep counting to 100 by 1's, 2's, 5's and 10's. The next chapter is addition. We have been doing addition worksheets already, but it never hurts to practice more addition.

Science: After retesting GKIDS this week, we still don't know our address, or our county, city, country or continent. Keep reviewing this at home.
