What a great week we have had! We flew by! We only have 8 days left! Next week will be a exciting week! We have our Kindergarten Camp week. A newsletter went home today about it. The students are to wear their YELLOW class shirts on Monday. Tuesday wear a blue shirt, Wednesday wear a red shirt, and on Thursday wear the Yellow class shirt again. Students are allowed to wear jean shorts or uniform bottoms. We are going to outside most of the day, please wear sunscreen, bring a water bottle, a hat and towel. This week will be tons of fun!
If you never received the newsletter, or you lost it; you can download the letter here: Kindergarten Camp Newsletter.
We will have our Kindergarten Celebration May 24 at 11:00. Parents are welcome and encouraged to come. We will have an awards ceremony before the party. The celebration will be in the classroom. I'll send the list out on sign-up genius soon.
We have our Jumpy Fun Day on May 23. The cost is $3. Please send the signed form back and $3 cash. It will be an awesome fun day!
Academic Update:
Literacy: We finished up our unit on World of Animals. We talked about animals that live in the ocean. We wrote and read all about ocean life this week. Keep reading at home!
Math; We will finish up our subtraction unit at the beginning of next week. Keep working on your addition and subtraction facts.
Science: We had an awesome lesson that summed up all the lessons from the year from Elianna's dad on Wednesday. We have truly loved having him as our class' science dad this year. He's been awesome! Thank you so much!
Have a great weekend. :)
